I was born in the late 70's and was fortunate to grow up in the 1980's. BMX bikes, arcades, He-man action figures, and the Knight rider TV show played a big part of my childhood. I don't ever remember the color of a person's skin mattering that much on the play ground. I had lots of friends from different races and different cultures. Having said that, I realize that not all people look at others the same way. Some view a persons skin color as an automatic wall of separation. That should not be the case. Everyone should be treated fairly and with the same love that we would want to be treated with. All of us as the human race have been created in the image of God. God loves us, so we should love others. Genesis 1:27 tells us, "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." Let's promote love, community, and Gods light today!
