How many of you have a car alarm on your vehicle? Do any of you remember when car alarms first came out? It used to be where you would be in a public place; maybe a parking garage or a supermarket parking lot and you would hear a car alarm and automatically you would get concerned. You might have even called the police. Now, you hear an alarm and most people just keep on walking. Some might even get annoyed and can’t wait until someone turns that noise off. That is what its like concerning the un-biblical view of the grace of God in many churches in America. The alarm is going off, but most people are ignoring it. For some people God’s grace has become a license to sin. For some people Christianity has become a title not a lifestyle. For some people church is something done on Sundays but Monday through Saturday is a whole different scenario. Some people bought the T-shirt but have never lived the life. The Apostle Paul said it this way, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” Romans 6:1, 2 Dwight L. Moody use to say, “Grace isn't a little prayer you chant before receiving a meal. It's a way to live. The law tells me how crooked I am. Grace comes along and straightens me out.”
