Faithful

The word "faithful" has been defined as, loyal, reliable, or trusted. Charles Stanley said, "Too many Christians have a commitment of convenience. They'll stay faithful as long as it's safe and doesn't involve risk, rejection, or criticism. Instead of standing alone in the face of challenge or temptation, they check to see which way their friends are going." I would have to agree with that. Today's culture is filled with people who are not dependable. Unfortunately, there are even Christians who are flaky. They say that they will be there on time, but they are late. They say they will do something, and it doesn't get done. They make promises, but do not keep them. Often, they write checks that their body cannot cash. Listen, Jesus has called everyone of us to be faithful. In fact, Luke 16:10 says, "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much." If you have a job, then be a faithful worker. If you are a mom and dad, then be a faithful parent. If you are married, then be a faithful spouse. If you are single, then be a faithful follower of Jesus. Be a good and faithful Christian and God will bless your life!
